I chat with Laurie Barton a retired muso and fireman. Laurie is a man of many art forms from acting to directing, from composing to performing, from artist to writer of poetry. Laurie has done it all. His poetry book is called ‘Look Twice’ and his next book of Parables is due out later in the year. We speak of forgetting dreams upon waking, repeating dreams, dreams of past homes and of day dreaming. Laurie speaks of his leading role as Captain Von Trap in the Sound Of Music and of composing and playing his own Country Music. We discuss his writing and are honoured by him reading his poems and prose. The memories he brings forth are amazing.
